I created a software distribution package for .NET 3.5 Sp1.
I used the command line switches from .NET 2, which are /q:a /c:"install.exe /q"
I tested this on a laptop in my office and recieved the following error when looking at the failed scheduled task:
Unknown status code (0x80000135,0:309).
When I reviewd the log file this is what I have:

Hmm command and exe looks strange. .Net 3.5 Sp1 file name is dotnetfx35setup.exe and here is a list of command line switches:
