    Move devices in Active Directory

Once a Computer is Archived to Asset Control is there a function that could move the Computer Object in Active Directory to a Archive OU.

Not as such out of the box, as Asset Control is "just" a separate bunch of DB-tables which the regular console doesn't see.

But you could probably write up a script that talks to your DC and does the moving for you via Microsoft API's ... and/or feed a script parameters (i.e. - the device name(s) ) of items that you want/need moved into your archive OU, for instance?

So - it is something that should be doable technically speaking.

That's what I figured but I was just wondering if anyone knew of a built in way to do this. Thanks phoffmann you always have an answer.
