Please look in the following logs and report the contents:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LANDeskAV\AVService.log
And also the contents of the following registry key:
The reason was because Outlook was opened during the installation process which LANDesk has a patch for that.
This points to the location of the real-time driver (KLIF.SYS).
We want to make sure it is correct. On the latest engine that should always point to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers
Where can we find this "patch". We're having the same problem after upgrading to SP3 and associated AV engine updates?
If you have downloaded the installed the July Minirollup for LDMS 8.8 SP3, you have the latest AV patches.
If you have not, you can get the Minirollup within your Security and Patch Manager content.
