When things like this happen I find an IIS reset and clearing the local cache files on the affected workstations fixes 90% of the issues.
Which cache files? Temp?
The server has been restarted so the IISRESET has effectively been run....
Thanks for the advice - I have got he ref number back ( Incident Object has misplaced a setting )
Yes the local cache on the workstations. Where they are depends if you are using OneTouch or not. We are and we use this script to delete the cache.
REM Will delete the local cache files for ITBM Helpdesk
echo Deleting local Helpdesk cache files!
cd %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data
rd Touchpaper /s /q
echo Batch Files Cleared Okay
echo Have a nice day!
Thanks for that - it worked!!!
Happier team as a result!!
