Edit: We did see a typo on TCP/IP (Landesk has it with no slash) but it has not changed the results.
I don't think this is valid
"Computer"."BIOS"."Service Tag" <> "Computer"."Network"."TCP/IP"."Host Name"
It would have to be a value
"Computer"."BIOS"."Service Tag" <> "12345"
You could create a query displaying thos values (Service Tag and Host Name) and export it to Excel 2007 using conditional formatting to highlight the differences. Or if you are good a SQL you could do it with a SQL query.
Yes, I could probably do it in Excel. I'd rather the landesk report work, of course
I do not know any SQL.
Hello. I have similar problem - I want to compare 2 date/time fields: Last HW scan date vs Last AV pattern update date (to filter out devices where definitions were older >14 days during last HW scan). Excel would be OK for offline reporting. But I'd like to link this query to AV repair script task.
As a workarround I'm comparing against todays date ("GetDate()-14").
Tried playing with quotes, double-quotes, brackets, exporting/importing xml - no luck.
Any ideas are welcome!
P.S. LDMS v8.8 SP3 (hope SP4 in the near future).
