Has anyone ran into the issue of the remote control icon not appearing after installing the agent on a client machine? agent completes its installation but the remote control does not show up, also tried remoting to the client with no success, sometimes even after restarts it doesn't show up. any ideas?
Are you installing this in a new client? upgrade?
Is the RC enabled in the Agent?
Can the client/core see each other?
Network or CSA?
new client machines, RC is enabled in the agent, client and core can talk.
It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough time were its a concern for me.
Are those machines reporting back to the Core (full inventory/vulscan results?
I would include with my Agent an Agent Health setting as well.
Try rebuilding your Agent?
Me personally haven't seen that in my environment.
