Last Task prompt to create New Task or New External Task

    Feasood Rookie

I have followed the two below threads to setup the Resolve Call on Last Task closure method:

      https://community.ivanti.com/thread/60638

      https://community.ivanti.com/thread/63883

and it works perfectly.  The question I have is we require the Service Desk Analyst role to have an extra option when selecting No to create a new Task.

Is there a way that when they select No you can get an option to create either a new Task or a new External Task as sometimes they have to create tasks for external Vendors.

Below is the Quick Action for what we have currently when they select No:

      Many thanks

          Hi Mike,

unfortunately you can not do it because you are using different relationships for internal tasks and external tasks so when you are inserting the child object you can't change the relationship

          kind regards

            Hello Feasood,

you could work with a text field which triggers a certain triggered action. One value in the field triggers a triggered action which creates a internal task and the other triggers an action which creates an external task.

So whenever the user selects "no" your quick action would fill in "externalTask" and if they select "yes" the value would be "internalTask". This would then trigger either one of the triggered actions.

            Makes sense?

            kind regards
