Using an LD provisioning task to pre-stage files onto machines at a site. The first machine that got the files in the subnet received it from the the package server and the remaining machines did a peer to peer pull and cached the files.
The sdclient.log file on the first machine showed the bandwidth(transfer rate -- kb/s) and time values (seconds). All the rest that did a peer to peer do not have these values in there sdclient.log file. Is this by design? We are interested in finding out the:
. peer to peer transfer rate
. does setting the bandwidth values in the delivery method affect the peer to peer transfer rates
. are there any other log files that we should look at for these values?
you may only get this data if you Xtrace lddwnld.dll and/or ltapi.dll and/or tmcclnt.dll. I am not 100% sure any will have the info, but if the info is logged, it would likely be in one of the .xlg files. And it probably won't be as easy to read.
