Does windows separate its scheduled tasks by user, so if you didn't use RunAsUser so it ran as Local System, would it then not remove users tasks?
1. these tasks are created when each user opens internet explore 7, now I disable auto updates the Feeds from IE7 and want to delete all these tasks due to the company security policy.
2. when I pushed out this batch file, I believe landesk used local system by default, but it did not remove the tasks, I changed to current user mode, but it still failed . Again, it worked with admin users.
Calling startasuser will launch the process as the currently logged on user. You need to remove startasuser from your batch file, and try to just run the command itself.
Let me know if that helps.
indeed, it was working after I removed startasuser, and ran as localSystem. It had not worked before since we upgraded to LD8.8-SP3, I did couple reboots on console and it is fine now.
thanks all for your help !
Glad to hear it worked!
