Generally this can be worked around by using a template with the subject line pre-populated with some default text.
That works fine for normal emails, perhaps even with attachments.
Trouble is that it doesn't work with embedded attachments. Presumably becuse for embedded attchments it takes the subject line as the attachment title.
In the event log I get:
Event Type: Error Event Source: Inbound Mail Engine Event Category: None Event ID: 0 Date: 20/11/2009 Time: 18:31:34 User: N/A Computer: UKHDAPPS01 Description: Null value set for attribute Title of class type IncidentManagement.Attachment.
Anyone know if this can be worked around?
I suggest thisis a bug and code needs to cope with blank subject lines and insert some default text (even a space).
Another reason why no field should be database mandatory IMHO. OK I feel better for that now. I feel there is more work needed on inline attachments as opposed to attachment attachments, so I would guess that this might be seen as a bug.
