Couple of ways to do this - Webconsole or direct SQL.  Webconsole, create a query  - (1) Devid ID  Exists, (2)  In columns select Compter.Software.Application Suites.Application Suite.Name - Highlight it and select Include Count.

Or use this sql to exclude junk apps:

SELECT Distinct SUITENAME, Count (SUITENAME), Version, Publisher
          FROM AppSoftwareSuites

          WHERE SUITENAME = SUITENAME
AND SUITENAME NOT LIKE 'Security Update%'
AND SUITENAME NOT LIKE 'Hotfix for Windows XP%'
AND SUITENAME NOT LIKE 'Intel(R) PRO%'
