We are getting the same exact error...did you ever find a solution to this? Continuing my search...
The module will say object in use if the printer on the computer trying to run the object was recently used and then not released. This typically happens with printers that are in a wide format such as Legal. The dll files are shared by certain printers and can cause this issue.
1. Start Menu
2. Printers and Faxes
3. Right click on default printer or commonly used printer for properties
4. Does it state "Legal" as paper option? Legal paper would be considered a wide print format. If I printed something in legal width it would make this object in use.
Another work around would be to restart the print spooler on the local machine that is attempting to run the report. This will release the object from use and allow you to continue.
Thanks Corrie! We will monitor this and try it the next time it happens.
printer spooler service is disable and no printer is configured my core server, still i also get the same error.
