    Unresolved incidents query - LD Servicedesk 7.3.1

      Is anyone aware of a simple query that can be created to show how many incidents are left outstanding at the end of each working day?

       

      i can create one for the end of the current day - but i need to retrieve historical data for my KPIs. IE: I need to see how many queries we had outstanding at the end of each working day (Mon - Fri) for the months of Oct, Nov and December 2009.

       

      we are currently running LD Service Desk 7.3.1 - If that makes any difference

          If you have the management Information module, that is designed to collect the data in the way you describe on a regular basis and then display as dashboards etc.  A crystal report might be another alternative.  The only other thought would be to export the data to excel.

           

          If you are on 7.3, you can use the grouping functions on queries and date fields as a 'group' do have some of the functions that you are after.
