I have an issue in customer's test server. Eventhough this is in the test server, it needed to be solved for the trining purpose and also I need to know to prevent this issue in the live system.
The issue is happen when I start the Touchpaper background service, it's recorded in the event viewer and all the error event says "Response is not well-formed XML" (see image or attachment). This affect the operation of background service such as escalation point, schedule action monitor, notification etc.

The problem seems to be triggered when Background Processing is attempting to update your Escalation Points. It's difficult to tell from this exactly why that is but some more detailed logging would probably shed some light on it. If you haven't logged this with LANDesk Support already then please do and we'll help you get to the bottom of this one.
