    How do we set up priviledges by department?


      How can we set up Departmental administrators that can only perform functions within their own department?  for example how can we configure the system the Licensing department can only create qeuries for the  licensing department and create dashboards for the Licensing department?

          Hi Norene,


          You should take a look at Customer and/or Analyst partitioning, these features allow you to prevent Users from accessing information that isn't directly relevant to them through the Groups they are a member of.  For more information on partitioning see the LDSDAdministrator manual.  I'd also recommend you have a discussion with a LANDesk consultant in order to understand this functionality better.
