Only system checkboxes are shown as checkboxes in webdesk. User created ones are shown as lists. I think this is a known problem currently
This is a known bug in Service Desk and have been given problem: 4173.
This is set to be fixed in version 7.4.
To get the tickbox to show you will need to make sure that there is a default value set for the attribute and that the attribute is Mandatory.
This way the tickbox will show in Web Desk as well as in Console.
I tried this Jenny and I still get drop downs instead of check boxes?
We are using v7.4 here and have encountered the same problem - custom tick-boxes that display fine in the console are displaying only as drop-down boxes in WebDesk.
Does anyone know if this bug as mentioned was fixed in v7.4 after all, or am I doing something wrong?

I'd read the associated comments from other people in that thread, but the method does work, albeit it's not too intuitive (IMHO)
