    Issues while trying to deploy software




      We recently started to use landesk 9.

      During the deployment of software i ran into a problem where every push fails with an error:

      file (<path to software>) is not in cache

      processing of package is complete, result -2147467259 (0x80004005 - code 16389)


      I was using a nornal push to install the software. Is there a way to point to the cache maybe?

      When i check the clients it started to copy the files into the landesk folder, but nothing more happens.


      Second problem is that i tried to create a new delivery method, but as soon as i try to save this, i get an error:

      "failed saving to db, core: servername as user domain\username method: WebService.


      The account i m using to save the delivery method has the appropriate rights to do this.
